Important Changes and Frequently Asked Questions

Accounts and Checks

Will my account number(s) change?

Current account numbers for most accounts will remain the same. If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) Certificate of Deposit account, your HSA CD funds will be transferred to your HSA checking account for easier balancing and management. This will only affect a small number of customers and accounts. Those customers will be notified separately and specifically about this change.

Will there be any impact on my automatic direct deposits and payments (ACH transactions) that are currently set up on my accounts?

No—since your account numbers are not changing. Existing ACH transactions will not be affected, except for end-of-season Christmas Club account balance payouts to an external bank account. These payments will default to check payment issued to the account owner(s).

If I currently have automatic transfers set within Internet Banking to transfer money between my LSB accounts, will this continue after the upgrade?

No—your online recurring transfers within Internet Banking will not convert over to the new system. You will need to either log into Internet Banking or speak with a Universal Banker to reset your automatic transfers.

If I currently have custom alerts set within Internet Banking on my LSB accounts, will those continue after the upgrade?

No—you will need to manually reset any custom alerts on your accounts. You will need to either log into Internet Banking or speak with a Universal Banker to reset your alerts.

Will interest earned on deposit accounts be impacted?

No. All dividends on all checking account types will now post at the end of the month.

Can I use my current checks? Does the upgrade impact check reorders?

You may continue to use your current checks. If and when you need to reorder new checks, you will follow the same process using Deluxe Corporation, the bank’s vendor. You can always ask us for help at the main branch.

Will there be any changes to loan accounts?

No—there are no changes to loan accounts. Due dates will remain the same, and any payments scheduled over the upgrade weekend will be processed the next business day.

Will the upgrade affect my mortgage?

If you have escrow on your mortgage, our process for escrow analysis will be changing as part of our upgrade. All mortgage customers will be officially notified in the near future about how these changes may affect or adjust their payments.

Debit Cards and ATM Use

Will I receive a new debit card? Will my current PIN number continue to work?

No—we will not be distributing new debit cards, so yes—your current PIN number will continue to work.

Will I be able to use my debit card and the ATM during upgrade weekend?

Yes—your debit card and our ATM will continue to work for both cash withdrawals and purchases without interruption. If you anticipate needing more cash than usual over the upgrade weekend, we encourage you to withdraw what you need before March 14.

Does the process change after the upgrade for what to do if my debit card is lost or stolen?

No—the process is the same. Contact us by phone or by coming into the branch as soon as possible to report, request, and receive a new card.

Statements and Notices

How does the upgrade affect delivery of my bank statements?

eStatements and check images processed prior to our system upgrade will not be available immediately after the transition. We strongly advise you to review the past 16 months of eStatement history, download and save or print any needed statements. Please perform this important step before Internet Banking is made temporarily unavailable during the upgrade weekend at 6:00 PM EST on Friday, March 14, 2025.

All statements will now be sent at end-of-month. The only exception to this is for Statement Savings Accounts, where statements will be sent end-of-quarter. Customers will begin receiving combined quarterly interest statements for their CDs and IRAs.

Current eStatement users will need to re-enroll in e-statements on or after March 17, 2025. You may get paper copies for a cycle or two while the system updates after you re-enroll.

PLEASE NOTE:
All customers will receive two statements in the month of March—one for cut-off at the time of conversion, and one for the end of the month on the new system.

Will my eStatement history be available for viewing?

No—because we are using a different system to generate statements, past eStatement history will not be immediately available to view online after the upgrade. You must save and/or print previous eStatements to keep them for your records, should you need them in the future.

Any new notices for Business customers?

Yes—Business customers will now be notified if a check has been rejected, due to failing the two-signature requirement on Business accounts.

Bill Pay

Will I have access to Bill Pay services during the transition?

No—online bill pay will be unavailable from 2:00 PM EST on Friday, March 14 through 8:00 AM EST on Monday, March 17.

Will my scheduled payments in Bill Pay be paid?

Yes—if your payments are scheduled prior to Friday, March 14 and after Monday, March 17.

Do I need to do anything regarding payee information?

We encourage you to review all payees’ information prior to the upgrade—for example, make sure the correct address and account numbers are listed.

Internet (Online) Banking

Is the bank’s website changing?

No—you will still access Internet Banking through our website at www.logansportsavings.bank. Once you have logged in, the Internet Banking portal will have a new look and feel.

Will Internet Banking be available during upgrade weekend?

Beginning at 2:00 PM EST Friday, March 14 through 8:00 am on Monday, March 17, online banking will operate in a “View/Inquiry” mode, which means that your account balance information will not be displayed in real-time. Additionally, any funds transfer options will be restricted.

Business Internet Banking will be unavailable during the upgrade weekend. We anticipate all Internet Banking services to be fully restored at 8:00 AM EST on Monday, March 17.

Do I need to re-enroll in Internet Banking after the upgrade?

No—you do not need to re-enroll. After our upgrade is complete, please plan to log in to online banking for the first time on a desktop or through a browser on your mobile device. You will see new terms and conditions that you need to review. After you answered and agreed, please click through to continue.

Will my Internet Banking username change?

No—your username will not change.

Will my Internet Banking password change?

Yes—in order to keep your confidential information secure, your online banking password will reset. When logging in to online banking for the first time after the upgrade, your temporary password will be your Postal Code and the last four digits of a Tax ID Number (i.e. your Social Security Number). You will then be prompted to change your password and set up your security questions.

I have alerts set up within Internet Banking – will those carry over?

No—alerts set up through Internet Banking prior to March 14 will not be carried over to the new system. In addition, any alerts you would expect to receive after March 17 will not be sent.

You will need to set up new alerts after the upgrade. These alerts can be set up easily from within Mobile and Internet Banking. Ask us for help if you need it.

Mobile Banking

Will mobile deposits be affected during upgrade weekend?

Yes—any mobile deposits you are planning to make need to be completed before 2:00 PM EST on Friday, March 14. This will ensure that no mobile deposits are left unprocessed during our transition and upgrade.

If you do not complete them before this time, you will not be able to make a mobile deposit until our conversion is complete, after 8:00 AM EST on Monday, March 17.

Will I have to download a new mobile app?

Yes—in order to provide you with an upgraded mobile experience, we have developed a new app. It will look different when you log in for the first time after our upgrade is complete. You will not be able to log in to the new app until Monday, March 17. At that time, you will no longer be able to access Mobile Banking using the old app.

Telephone Banking

Will the Direct Teller Line phone number change?

Yes—please make note of a new number to use: +1 (866) 904-26390
